Bear Mountain Hollow WMA

Has anybody had any luck up there yet? I like to go up there for a weekend or two, but usually later in the season.

I took my son last weekend, didn't see anything. I think only 4 deer were killed during the juvy hunt last weekend. Its rough hunting up there if you get back in there deep where the big ones supposedly are.

I've been up there three or so times scouting . Found a few rubs , nothing really great showing up . I plan to go back some later in the season . There are acorns everywhere up there so I don't know how much moving will be happening until pressure or rut kicks in .

Thanks for the input. I went there last year with a buddy and we had a good time, he got his first deer there. This was in December though. We didn't see any bucks sign but they're up there.
