I thought I remember reading in the regs last year that you could feed deer at a baiting station as long as it was 400 yards away from your hunting location. The reason I ask is because one of the other property owners kin, showed up at the farm we both hunt with 400 lbs of corn to dump out in front of his trail cams. The area where I hunt is farther than 400 yards away.
And what is the time frame. Is it 10 or 14 days that all of the corn has to be gone? I just want to be legal come opening day of archery. He said he might not hunt till October.

The enforcement procedure on that has been that you can't be withing a 250 yd zone from a bait site, and you can't shoot into that 250 yd. zone. A bait site closes approximately 41 acres to any hunting.

Otherwise, ALL of the bait must be gone at least ten days prior to hunting.
