Was watching hunting show this am, guy was bow hunting from a blind. First shot showed him walking to blind with a backpack that you could put two push lawn mowers in, shoots deer was standing outside of blind without backpack, next shot he says he is going to look for deer. Has same backpack full of push mowers (pun) , do you gays need a full pack to find dead deer ?

I'm not gay but Im guilty of bringing a lot of stuff with me. Especially for longer walks in, cold days and long sits. Nothing better than brewing some coffee and reading a book to break the day up.

If I were gay, I'd probably just bring more stuff.
If you make a latte in the stand you may be gay. Straight (ha) coffee is fine in the he-men handbook.

My buddy Stalk Hunter totes a large pack, I don't know what all's in it but he is ready for what ever lol, he gets a work out even not dragging a deer 🤣

I carry what I can in my pockets water, knife, phone, hand warmers, and if muzzle loader season extra reloads. Thinking about getting me a small pack this season just so my britches ain't falling down 😂

Get a small 1 you will really like it, I tie a fold out stool to mine, lean back against a tree and watch nature go by. a drag rope also makes life better. I carry sandwiches in the hard plastic boxes so they don't get squished, got 1 that's pink and always look around before I pull that 1 out so nobody see's it lmao, reckon it was sissy's from a long time ago.

I use the Academy brand bags also they are either Magellan or Game Winner I cant remember. But I take in quite a bit of stuff for an all day sit.

- Water
- snacks (peanut butter sandwich and trail mix)
- TP (because I don't feel like hunting without my socks again)
- little pelican case to hold my knife, hunters safety card, license, post permit, weapons registration ( I hunt on an Army base so you have to buy a permit to hunt on it and you have to have your guns registered with the provost marshall to.bring onto a military installation and carry both with you at all times)
- headlamp with spare batteries

I'd guess that was a sponsors backpack. He just forgot to put it on for that one shot. Having been around a filmed hunt or two for tv, it's a dog and pony show. It made me so disgusted that I won't watch hunting shows anymore. Meat Eater is about the closest I've seen to being realistic. But it has its moments too.

Late season, when I'm packing clothes to and from my stand, I'm guilty of carrying a large pack. But, for short sits in the early season, I just carry an Alpha Pack and it holds all I need. Made in the USA as a bonus.

Let me help you out on the packing in clothes. This is the best investment I have made since I decided to start using a treestand and not sitting on the ground against a tree (grew up poor has heck and couldn't afford one, was hunting one day and freezing and said to myself I make a good living now WTH am I doing). But anyways this seems like a high price tag but let me tell you I no longer look like the little brother on A Christmas Story. Just a thin base layer and regular pants and long sleeve shirt is all you need. And maybe not even a base layer depending on the temp.

I've noticed when watching some of the shows that the hunter's clothing or equipment may change a little during what is supposed to be the same walk. Obviously they edit and put together a hunt for a less than 30 minute show. Makes sense that the backpack may be a sponsor item. I don't usually wear one when looking for a deer; maybe if I'm heading in the direction of my truck.

I always carry mine when looking, I have my knifes rope gloves ect in it, I aint lazy but I always take my rifle too, some times your allowed 2 deer and hate to miss a chance at a double unless its hot out,
