We are shooting this weekend at bucks2beards ,hopefully the weather will hold out either way we will be there ,be safe B2B

on the flat side behind the sign up shed , totally new course from last month...weather is shaping up for the weekend now chance of rain keeps going down

We will be playing a fun little game this weekend and every weekend from here on out, details at the shoot but if your name is drawn at the shoot and at least 2 names will be drawn, you will be given the opportunity to earn cash money if you shoot a 12 on the target that you are on at the time we walk the course , it will be videoed and put on our web site and facebook page ..could be $20.00 could be $100

Good gosh how many questions are y'all going to ask lol?

How much are the hot dogs?

Will there be porta potties?

Will you have Tylenol?

Do you have a beginner class or hunting class or fun class? Or is everyone lumped in together?

Hotdogs at the Florida shoot were $3.

Yes.

I'm sure Jason or Marc can come up with some Tylenol for a small price. :)

Thank you for the polite response

:)

Having never been to one of these shoots before if I were to register for the beginners class or hunters class what sort of ranges and target sizes would I be expecting to encounter?

I have been reading some on other boards that yardage estimation is important and have been working on that the most.

beginner class aka "bow novice" is a 30 yard max and is all known yardage . The Hunter class is 40 yard max . He will have to elaborate on judging for this class but at ASA shoots it is half known and half unknown .

Targets 1-10 on the hunter class are unknown yardage and targets 11-20 are known yardage ...deer, hogs bears all lifelike sized targets .

Man I'd love to go, never shot in an event like this but really thinking about getting into. I'd rather have my strothers tuned in but I haven't got around to it yet.

My specks tuned into 34 yards so this is tempting

we get tons of people that never have shot and once they do they are hooked ,seriously its not any big stressful event its as laid back as it gets ..come on out this weekend

Well I had fun , in my open C debut . I shot 4 or 5 10's just high on the first few targets . And then while at full draw something didn't feel right so I started to let down and boom , it went off . And no it didn't hit the target lol . After that I shot eight 12's , two 8's , and the rest 10's to finish at 2 up . Pretty happy with that since I blanked one . I wasn't really that confident with my open setup untill today . Now I'm definitely ready for Ft. Benning to hurry up and get here .
