ATV's in Catoosa

My father in law and I have a question regarding bringing an ATV (four wheeler in my case) into Catoosa. My FIL said he has called the TWRA office and the woman he spoke to said she wasn't positive so I'm hoping to get an answer here.

Do you need a special permit to ride an ATV in the approved areas within the WMA? We both have a sportsman's license but I am struggling to find an answer to any other regulations on what we would need to legally ride them in there.

Sorry, but I don't know how they are handling the ATV regs on Catoosa. There are issues because some of the roads are public which could be off limits to any ATV. And, under WMA rules, ATV use is usually very restricted.

Give the Area Manager Jim Lane a call at (931) 456-2479. If you can't get in touch with him, call back to the Reg. III office and ask to speak to someone in the law enforcement section.
