Athlon Scopes

Anyone have any experience with Athlon scopes? I'm eyeballing this one https://www.midwayusa.com/product/10946 ... icle-matte and looking for a sub $500 scope with these specs for an AR10. Mostly for plinking and some hunting. Reviews I've read is the glass is as good as Vortex but half the price. And I do like the reticle.

Thanks. I doubt I'll use the 24x magnification but it's there if I want it. Think I'm going this route. Thanks for the reply!
