Can't wait to get my little man out there in a few more years.

I promise you, it's even a better experience than you hope it will be! As her first deer, that was definitely one of the top moments of my life.

Couldn't agree more Bryan. Tell your daughter congratulations from me. I know you've very proud.

Blood on her face and all.

My daughters are 15 months and 3 years old. My oldest daughter has already told me, "I want to go deer hunting daddy." My response, "When you're older."

A few days later, I was showing off and asked her in front of her grandmother, "Do you want to go deer hunting?" Nods her head yes, thinks for a while, and says, "I'm older now?"

I was out of town and off TNdeer, but thought of y'all this weekend. Glad she found success.

Did y'all hunt morning and evening or just evening?

Yup, she decided that was appropriate.

"I'm older now?"

Love that!

We hunted morning and evening Saturday. She killed the spike Saturday evening, after having a long run in with 3 does and a fawn Saturday morning (she had to keep the gun up for over 15 minutes during that episode). I gave her Sunday morning off to get over her adrenaline hang-over from Saturday night. We hunted Sunday evening and didn't see anything.

Aint nothing like it! I enjoy taking my kids more than hunting myself, it is not even close!

Great job BSK!

I still remember the morning my daughter killed her first deer, and so does she.
Congrats to you both!!

Does she want to get it mounted? My 10 yr old daughter killed her first deer Saturday evening, a young doe, and asked me that on the way home :) !

Awesome experience. Last year was the first time I was able to take my son (lives with his mother in FL) at the age of 15. Out of all the things we did, (and we did a lot during Christmas break last year), the 2 hunting trips that we sat in the stand together, froze together, and saw absolutely nothing together was his favorite thing we did together last year. Looking forward to taking him again this year, and hoping he will be able to get his first deer.

Holy cow, your daughter is that big already? Man I can remember when you said she was coming. Does that mean I'm getting old too? Congrats to both of you.
