Howdy yall, quick arrow question. I have been shooting the same arrows the last 5 years, literally the same arrows. Started with 18 and now in the 9-10 range. I would just take them to the pro shop and have them refletched each year but now the inserts are becoming beat up and its getting hard to spin test and square up broadheads.

The arrows are Easton Flatline Surgical in 400 spine, which they no longer make. They do make the Flatline DOA that is basically the same arrow in .003 instead of .001.

Ok, I say all that to ask 2 questions:
1 - In your opinion will I notice a difference in the straightness if I am shooting 60 and in while in the back yard or woods?
2 - Would you consider trying a 340 spine? I am right on boarder with specs 70lbs with 26 11/16" arrow shooting 100grn heads.

Thanks in advance

I would go with the .340 spine--it is always best to go stiffer when close to an in between point. You will not notice any difference going with the lower straightness. Us mere mortals can shoot .006 just as effectively as we can .001 shafts, in most cases.
