I'm using the Medusa Max from Bowfinger and love it—its full containment, stay locked in the shooting position, will stay up if I have to let down and....you can make micro adjustments to the cord for fine-tuning without untying the cord from the buss cable.

I've had good luck out of a ripcord, ripcord SOS, and QAD HDx. All can be had for under $100.

I love my QAD. Had one on my old rig and when I got a new bow, went on with another. No reason to change it.

my vote is for the apache drop away rest....hasnt failed me and is quiet and affordable...think i got mine on sale for $60 at gander mountain

Love my QAD hdx but I also think that a ripcord is as good a rest you can find and the price point makes it a real front runner IMO
