AR question??

I bought a Remington R-25 in 243 a few months ago. This is the first AR weapon I have ever owned. I have been told that DMPS makes this rifle for Remington. This is my question. Can I still interchange different uppers to fit my lower, regardless of caliber, make, model etc..... What type of changes would I have to make? Clips etc.... I would like to have a 223 upper if they will interchange and function properly. Any thoughts, opinions??

the R25 is a DPMS,,it should interchange with any AR10,,the 223 is an AR15 and will not interchange with the 308 class weapons

it is for the r15 also and wont work on the r25 lower

You can also get a 300 SAUM for the AR10 lower.
