AR accuracy ??

loaded some 55 gr PSP with 23,3 grs h-322 and shot 4 groups gettin a zero,,BUIS and the Eotech,,zero magnification,,100 yards.

zero FTF or FTE..


less than an inch from point of aim every time good enough for a 16 inch no frills battle type rifle??

lookin at something else for precision shooting,,

Sounds very good. I would be very pleased with those results. Wonder how good it would shoot with a 4x or 5x power scope?

I would be very pleased with that. I get around 1 inch with mine but thats with a 4X scope so that makes a big difference.

you shot 1.5" groups at 100 yards with an eotech? I'd be thrilled with that. If you're wanting to do load workup and see what it'll really do, mount a 20x scope on it and shoot some groups. With those loads, I bet you can easily get 1/2 moa.

I can find out,,I got an M8 6x Leupold layin in the safe.

but this is my,,both eyes open CQC rig,,this load is much tamer than the wolf or federal ball ammo,,322 meters well so i tried it first,,think I`ll go ahead with 1000 of these and see how clean it runs..

Reading this thread has me really fired up about getting my S&W AR set up. I had it for 2 months and haven't even shot it. I'm saving up to get the Burris XTR 1-4 scope with the Fast Fire Dot site.

Let us know how it shoots with the scope on it if you decide to mount it.
