Haven't had any luck on crappie... 4 fishing trips in the last 2 weeks have only equalled 4 keepers. Primarily been fishing bartons creek, depth between 2-20 ft, live bait and jigs... Bout to give up on crappie and wait for dem bass to start spawning

Know a couple guys who do quite well on Bartons from 4-18 feet depending on the tree. They have been averaging about 20 good keepers a trip. last trip was today and they had 23 slabs. They use nothing but jigs under floats and just plain jigs.
