Anyone use 143 lever hammer?

Anyone out there have experience with the 143gr lever hammer by hammer bullets?

Curious specifically about loads in 30-30, but interested in any on game anecdotes used in other 30 cals

While I haven't used that particular Hammer, I have used their Hammer Hunter and Absolute Hammers quite a bit. I have not had a deer take a step after I shot them with any of the Hammer bullets.

They get a lot of love, and my wife has started some new pressure towards lead free options.
I know monos like speed, which does not describe the 30-30 in ANY way lol. I'm assuming hammer designed the lever hammer to work well at the lower 30-30 speeds, but might be worth a call to them to discuss

Send them an email and they will tell you everything you need to know. If these are like the other Hammers you just load until you have pressure, then back off a tad. They will probably be the most accurate bullets you have shot out of the rifle.

That seems to be the consensus. I've tried Barnes in the past, and while they killed, I didn't love them. Leaning towards hammer if the wife pushes for lead free
