Logan wants to get his hybrid mounted. Wanting to pay for it with his little money. Anybody got the hook up? I am sure i will pitch in for the little man.

My cousin does a great job on stripers, so I am thinking hybrids would be about the same. He worked for Ralph Dallas many years ago.

Would that be Dallas Taxidermy over off Long Hollow Pike?

Well the price from Sullivan's is 10.00 an inch.
Dallas is 9.00 an inch!

So I a, looking at between 230 and 260 bucks for this fish!

Geez!

http://www.cripplecreektaxidermy.com in Murfreesboro has some of the best prices I've seen. It won't do you any good, price-wise, to tell him Joey Mustain sent you, but it'll make me feel good to know that you told him I referred you.

Heck of a nice guy but I wouldn't let money be my main motivation when chosing a taxidermist. Things may have changed over the years, and he does a good job but you will have to beg, plead and beg some more before you will get it back.

I understand but this fish is 27 inches. I know a good taxidermist is worth his weight but I am mounting a fish for gosh sakes! Lol

anyone know of a hybrid (not the fish) mount of a rockfish...i remember years back ther was a debate between what looked best between real skin and fake. and there was a guy name joey A or something like that, that showed off a real nice hybrid mount of a rockfish that looked real good.

heres a skin mount of my first mount, it looks real good..as i would like a fake head though ,that looks like a real rockfish
