I know where Thief Neck island is (accessible by boat), and I believe it is archery only for adults (youth hunts allow shotgun and/or muzzleloader) according to the guide.
Aside from the other two islands specifically mentioned in the guide--Iron Hill and Long Island, are other islands on Watts Bar open to hunt under the normal statewide regs? Meaning, centerfire rifle allowed during gun season, etc, or can you only hunt the three islands listed?
I'm really confused by the description of this WMA. Tried calling the name/number listed in the guide for it, and never got a response.
Any info is appreciated. I live in the area and really need access to some public land (and I do have a boat).
