Anyone else notice the TYPO?

Hunting guide says velvet only in unit L. I called and confirmed that this is a typo.

Yes, we had a discussion on here little while back about it, but it appears to have been deleted. I looked for a few minutes, but could not locate it. Both hard copy and online edition have the typo.

It also says "no antlered deer may be taken during this period ". I wonder if a hunter in unit L was to shoot a doe this weekend. Would they be covered if they brought the regs to the attention of twra?

No, it wouldn't be covered. There is a disclaimer in bold in the first if the Hunting Guide that the HG is NOT a legal document. The legal documents are the statutes, Rules and Regulations, and Proclamations with links on the TWRA website.
