Afraid so!! Highway 78 @ Bogota has water across it. With this much water upstream & with the Miss. river rise I wonder if I-155 could flood.

Friggin Bonne- Carrie spillway forecast to open in 2 weeks dumping all that freshwater into Lake Ponchatrain... which will kill all the oysters, shrimp, and bait from Ponchatrain, to Lake Bourgne, to the Mississippi coast.

This rain event sucks all the way around.

Oh crap! Are they gonna open Morganza? Bird's Point?

I drew Tumbleweed WMA opening day and of course that is closed now. I wonder if the TWRA will honor the draws that are lost on that WMA since it is the only state WMA draw on the Mississippi River flood zone. But the people who drew later hunts may get theirs when the water drops back below flood stage. The rest of the WMA's in TN are not affected. That's a loss of draw permit and priority point. Kind of like hitting the golf ball out of bounds off the tee. :D
