We do a cooking show for a local access channel called Your Plates or Mine.

The idea behind the show is "you don't have to be a professional chef to be a star in your own kitchen". We seek out and cook with regular folks who have a great recipe.

We would like to do an outdoor/camping cooking show and need someone to cook with. The recipe has to be easy enough that regular people could do it, but involved enough to fill a half hour show or include enough items to fill up 2-12 minute segments.

If you are interested, shoot me a PM for more details.
Thanks!

I use to do at least one campfire cooking show a month. Viewers would send in requests for me cook using campfires and just Dutch ovens and grills. It was a lot of fun. I did and article for Women in the Outdoors on Southern Shore Lunch and it became a show on the Outdoor channel. That meal was deer backstrap, fried fish, new potatoes, onion, tomatoe and grilled asparagus with parmesian cheese.

For the lead-in, we actually caught the fish and filleted them on the bank. The cameraman ate so much I thought we were going to have to catch more fish. The lady, (I can't remember her name) wouldn't eat deer meat...until she tried a bite of it. :)

I have seen many women eat properly prepared deer meat and they
thought it was out of this world delicious. I usually keep it
quite, but sometimes I tell them they just ate bambi and then
they freak out and start gagging.

The ones I like.......I keep quite.

Psychological thing....I guess.

It is a no-frills type deal but it is very easy and VERY good, but I do a mean potatoes o'brian on the grill. ;)

CBU is who you need to talk to, he does a tough turkey alfredo that you will eat so much of it will make you sick.

MAN that stuff is killer.
