Anybody here hunted Alaska...

I was planning on going this fall...I've got a buddy that is working out of Fairbanks right now and we were planning a Cast & Blast hunt out of a little town called Cordova just a couple hundred miles east of Anchorage. Had the flight booked and a forest cabin booked as well. We were planning on hunting Black bear, Ducks and then doing a lot of fishing toward the end of the trip if we were able to tag out on a blackie. Unfortunately, my little boy had been diagnosed with Leukemia, so that trip has been cancelled. I can still live vicariously through TN Deer member's stories though, right! So please share your Alaska story if you have one!

Thanks mike! He gets to come home today after 6 weeks in the hospital. We'll be headed back in a week or so for round 2 of chemo, but what a blessing to have him home.
