Any of y'all ever hunted the forked river waterfowl refuge, looks like a cool spot that's managed really well.
Never heard of such.Any of y'all ever hunted the forked river waterfowl refuge, looks like a cool spot that's managed really well.
It's in JacksonNever heard of such.
It's been allowed to become overgrown and difficult to get into where you would want to be. Walk in access only.South Fork Waterfowl Refuge. Unless something has drastically changed in the past several years, it's not managed really well. If you've never been with someone that knows what to do and where to go out there, very easy to fill up your waders. You can shoot me a PM if you're seriously considering it and I'll do my best to give you some guidance.

Sounds about right. Last time I hunted it we had an inflatable camo raft and a battery operated pump that we used.Had some buddies that had good success years ago when the ducks were there.. They would use one man kayaks to get in while others floated on decoy bags.. Access was awful..
