I have a Merc 125 two stroke outboard motor that has a miss, The motor starts easy idols fine and runs great.
When it is first started and cold it will miss a few times usually in the high RPM range for just a split second it is like you turned the key off motor completely shuts down then right back to wide open running fine.
I think it is an electrical problem and I have it in the shop now.
My question is if they can't find what's wrong with it by this weekend, will it hurt to run the motor? I have family from out of state in town and they all want to be on the big water this coming weekend!
