This has been an unbelievable year for me even though our turkey numbers are down in my area. My daughter killed a six bearded Tom on the juvenile hunt and then I killed a four bearded Tom. This morning I killed a six bearded Tom, my second six bearded turkey. This one has over 41 inches of beard! He was very light, only weighing 18 lbs, consistent of strutting instead of eating.

U think its genetics? Are these birds coming from same area.....and i bet that bird weighed little more than 18 or little less cant wait for my day with a bird like that

Ha, I see you got all the pics of that one! Congrats, that's one heck of a bird right there! Think I'll take a line from Team Alabama..... "It's about to get real up in here". Yeah I think it just did....with a Tennessee bird! Lol.

LOL.....yelp that was my line  Ol Hillbilly Hunter just posted up the equalizer to N2deer bird.

Congrats by the way Hillbilly Hunter on a stud and a ridiculous season. 3 multi beards in a single season 2 of which have 6 beards is crazy!!

His teammates must be sand baggig because he is the only one with an entry.

My six bearded one and my daughters six bearded one are at the taxidermist. The four bearded one got ate. I got a $800 bill already.
Good turkey taxidermy ain't cheap. Just curious, what position are you getting them mounted in? I got one in full strut...never again, takes up way to much room. I think yours would look awesome gobbling on a limb. You could really see his beards good like that.

Can't wait to see them. Money well spent. I've never had one mounted. Said I'd wait til I killed one with at least a 12" beard. Did that a few years ago but his spurs were average so I didn't. I did have my son's first one mounted in full strut for him. It's big but sits on top of the gun safe. I tried to talk him into gobbling on the limb but that didn't work.

The numbers do add up quickly with multi-beards. 118+ is and will be hard to beat. Congrats on the "super bird", who cares about weight, may have been a 15# with a pound of hair :D
