Another scrape thread.

Has anyone notice the lack of scrapes so far. We have 2 farm with only a couple and generally they are loaded. Have another farm where they are every where. Strange so far.

Right now being this early it's all completely property dependent. When adult bucks arrive to an area they're interested in breeding they usually announce their arrival with scrapes. If you've not seen it yet just stay tuned. It's time. But it's just now time, very early yet.

Just got back from our property in Christian County KY and scrapes everywhere.

The most we've ever seen. Tons of rubs too.

That's what's weird. One of those properties I've hunted for 30 years and its never been like this.

I saw some a few weeks ago on our place but haven't really been back. getting some pics of bucks on scrapes, though.

I haven't been anywhere in 3 weeks due to a vacation, but some of our guys have reported zero sign and there certainly aren't many pictures in high traffic areas.

I'm headed your direction Saturday to move / hang some cameras. Hoping some scrapes have opened up. So far cameras haven't turned up anything of note which is somewhat disappointing because for the last 4-5 years my buddy has had pictures of at least one target deer by now. Hopefully we can get some cameras on scrapes and find one to chase after.

I walked a lot of ground couple weekends ago and nothing to right home about. I'm hoping by now they've started to open up.

On my place, bucks had JUST started hitting scrapes around Oct 15.

Can't wait to go check cameras end of this week. Hope to see some real scraping action.
