Anyone ever find deer poop in a big (community I guess?} scrape?
Got a cam on it and will check it Tuesday.

Having scrapes tells you there are deer there but I'm thinking the dominant buck only visits these scrapes at night...younger, subordinate bucks may slip in during daylight hours...I'd rather have a nice rub or better yet a rub line...both, however, only tell you that you have bucks in the area

I didn't even mean to find the scrapes, was walking out from hunting and saw them along with a few small rubs. I didn't try to find any big rubs, just put out the cam and left.
I got a good'n on cam in there in August. I saw that deer in bow season standing close to where the scrapes are. I also saw the little spike that I had pics with the big buck yesterday.
Maybe with a lot of luck I'll kill him.. or atleast see him.
