Nice! May I ask where at, how deep, and what used?

Yea, been wearing em out trolling in 6-7ft of water in the coves with plainer boards that my buddy makes and sells. Using one 1/16 self color molded head (blue, pink, or chart). Color variates daily. Yesterday chart-black with a pink head was hot, but today it was blue/cotton candy with a pink head. Trolling at .8-1mph with 3 and half feet behind the board. I would stick with any cotton candy grub tho cause thats bout the color of choice so far this yr although come march I catch most everything on blue/black/chart. Hope this helps. Always happy to try.

Mighty fine mess! See the side of a fishing machine back there, what you got? Got a 1448 Weldbilt myself, with a 25hp Yamaha 2-stroke.

Thats a good boat. We got a 17ft G3 SC with a 40hp yamaha. Rod holders all way around with a (my fav) I-Pilot. Love not having to mess with that pedal anymore.

Awesome! I have never trolled for crappie or used a planer board; both of which I may try to do. I've only jigged for them. Thanks for another tip, for me to try around here in Cordell Hull.

how long did it take to catch that fine mess ?

Started at 1030 & we had em by 330. Had some wind come in and they would quit til it died. So we had intermissions between the good times.
