.. that act so sneaky. I can't tell much but he looks like a new buck. Terrible picture so I may be wrong

They get wary with age. Always so careful and risk averse. If you ever have the opportunity to watch one for a little while as he uses the ground around him, you'll start to wonder how the heck you ever kill one. Truly masters of survival.
So true! Weird how they will walk a 100 yard line in 30 seconds, then stop and take it all in for 20 minutes, then do it again. It's like they have a mission to get to a predetermined specific spot, but soak in all the thermals and surroundings before getting there very methodically
 
You ain't seen nothing yet. Just wait til mid October when they really start traveling. It's incredible really. If you ever wondered what effect a 1-buck limit would have, now you know.
Looks like accuweather is calling for some cold mornings in late Oct/early Nov
