All dayers begin tomorrow!

With temps at 40* in the morning and not reaching above 66* tomorrow ill be attempting my first all day sit......winds up around 5 mph (perfect) and 100% deer sightings out of this tree on a bow only refuge i will keep this thread live throughout tomorrow!

Good luck I have never been able to do a true all dayer. Set out to several times and either killed in the a.m. or wind shift or something to get me down and moving.

I dont mind doing all day hunts as long as animals are moving all day. I've noticed that if the birds are quiet and the squirrels arent moving, nothing else will be moving either including deer.
As long as something is moving and i can hear the birds then all day sits in the right places can pay off nicely.

No deer yet but ducks are everywhere and hens are yelping and deer have been working my mock scrape i put in here the last time i hunted which was 15 days ago...deer probably wont make it past me until 10....im deep in the marshes

I had planned on coming down late as well, around 12:30-1, but I hunt on top of a huge hill and now the wind is 15mph+. Squirrels and birds are moving plenty but I just wonder If the deer are bedded down. So far seen 1 coyote that was 50yds and moving early this morning, not a sign since.... Wasting time here?

Almost forgot, had a first time experience walking in. There is a lot of underbrush here an walking up the hill I paused for a drink. I hear something 5 feet away SLOWLY creeping away, I pull out my light and its a furry white ball.... I look closer, SKUNK!!!! Tail up! Them it bursts down the hill full speed. Could have been a BAD start lol

I'm having an all-dayer as well. I haven't left the house and probably won't. Got up intending to go and said, ah, the hlp with it. Been napping off and on since and am ejoying it.

Wind is sure more than 5 here and solid overcast now. Sunny earlier.
