Me, I am not the best at judging age on the hoof. Once down on ground what I consider mature can be hard to judge neck, front chest, and gut.

If you butcher or even just skin yourself my experience has been, no matter what the year was like, older bucks have buckets of fat compared to 3.5 yr olds.

My first impression is 3.5, but looking at the second picture, I am leaning more to 4.5. Based on my experience with cementum testing that I have had done. most have been 1 to 2 years older than tooth wear and trail cam photos would indicate. ( Middle Tn. area, others may be different )
