For all of you are better at judging age by jawbone than me...what say you?

Body wise looks 4.5. Did you get a weight? Not the best way to judge age, as there are a few 3.5yos that will break 200lbs...but not many.

3y ago my daughter killed a 192lb buck in late Dec that looked 4.5yo or older. Tarsals stained all the way down from the hocks to the hooves. Jawbone said 2.5.

We killed 3 bucks this year we knew were 4.5yo.... all 3 of them had 3.5yo jawbones.

I guess what I'm trying to say is toothwear isn't terribly accurate between 2.5 and 4.5 in many cases.

Unfortunately I didn't get him weighed but body wise is the biggest out of the 3 bucks taken off of our farm this year. We try to pass 3.5 y/o bucks but I was afraid this deer might be just a big bodied 3.5
