Been seeing lots of toms around the house and even blocking my road, in the morninga a few times. Came home today and this boy was with 2 hens in full strut. Grabbed the little 20 gauge stoeger and was able to get around. Called once and they came my way. Not the big one i saw beside house but he will do. 1 inch spurs. 10.75" beard. 20 pounds on the dot. Flopped down in the creek do he was a little wet in photo.

Congrats RB, sounds like you live in heaven. Wildlife haven from the pics you post. I too have wondered about them eating eating coated seeds. I would be more worried about it hurting/killing him over the long haul that it hurting me. I would still eat him. Thanks for sharing.
