Most peaceful sit I've ever had. Buck comes by around 4:30. I'm on the Laurel Hill hunt, and I couldn't tell if he was a shooter until he came back by. When I determined he was (a nice feat with their restrictions), I got the fever and tried to thread the needle. Pulled just enough to hit a tree.

I have a couple other spots I could hunt, but they're on recommendation, so I don't have clue about them. The spot I was on today I chose because of the rubs and scrapes I found. Would y'all go back tomorrow or find another spot?

Man, I'm glad to hear that. Topping it all off was the flat tire I discovered as I was leaving. It's a lonely feeling changing a tire in the dark on a WMA.

Hunted there the rest of the weekend. Saw plenty of does and a spike, but the big boy never came back through. I'm keeping that spot to myself, and hopefully he'll make it to next season. Thanks for y'all's help!
