Action Ration 870 Express Magnum

Just traded for 870 Express magnum. The forearm has "ACTION RATION " embossed in it at the upper end. Being an old coon henter i am familiar with Action Ration dog food, that's the brand i used to buy from CO-OP. Any info about this gun would be greatly appreciated.

That trademark is owned by TENNESSEE FARMERS COOPERATIVE INC.(CO-OP) LAVERGNE, TN

Did they ever sell guns?

If not, and since that isn't showing up anywhere, my wild azz guess would be that may have been done by someone at CO-OP for a trade show display or something. Good luck with your search.
