Let me first start off by saying that I am NO marksman, but I do feel like I have good form and habits. I shot my two rifles yesterday and was not pleased at all. 1st was Savage 110 in .243, two shots within an inch, then one about 12 inchs to the right. Next was Win Mod 70 in .270. Three shots within about a 2.5 inch circle. All shots were at 100 yards, in prone position, both rifles have had trigger jobs and Nikon Prostaff scopes. I don't shoot a lot, but felt that I was on the bullzeye with each trigger pull. Could muzzle jump be a cause? Any ideas or tips?
