This year throughout Tn there seem to be more bigger, older bucks being killed. Another thing that sticks out is there seems to be more mid day movement by this older population of bucks by eyewitness and camera account. So....just for grins let's try something. This is strictly for the months of November and December and it doesn't necessarily depend on a kill. A sighting or picture will suffice. For those who have a recollection of either, retro any responses back to November 1. List all bucks seen from 10:00 AM through 3:00 PM 3.5+ or those that would score 125"+ by date and time denoting whether by eyesight or camera. Ex:

1.November 5
11:30 AM
140" 8 pointer
Camera

2.November 27
10:30 AM
135" 8 pointer
Eyewitness

Please omit stories about the encounters and just supply the information requested. This may not be a long list meeting the criteria but it'll be interesting to see when our bigger deer are being killed.

I only got a few seconds of video but I had a 3.5 year old at least 115" walk by at 2 pm on November 19.

Before we had cameras on every tree, we knew there was a lot of midday movement by mature bucks. In fact, I wrote an article for D&DH in the 80's about that very thing. I believe it was titled, "Between 10 and two".
