Just fyi, waterfowl report from Mid-South duck hunter Scott May:

Mississippi opened for three days, last Friday and most reports were gloomy.
There are few ducks of any kind in DeSoto and Tunica Counties.
The brakes west of Clarksdale produced fair hunting, but not many mallards.
Arkansas remained slow over the Thanksgiving weekend.
Some of the fields around Harrisburg produced limits of little ducks, but few mallards.
The White is still out of bank, but hunting slow in most places.
Cache and Bayou DeView falling and big ducks scarce.
A bright spot was a club on the St. Francis near Trumann; their take through Sunday was 190 with over 60 mallards.
Mississippi opens again today; have no reports.
