This is Katies first hard core coon season and she is adapting very well. 7 straight singles last night. She is avg. 6 per hunt. This could be higher but the owner is not up to the task! lol

Lookin good. I would love to get my leopard cur in thick coons like that. Is it hard to get permission to hunt coons?
No. I have little to no competition here coon hunting and even less squirrel hunting. I have acquired a lot of land to hunt on over the years here from knocking on doors and asking. We are blessed with a lot of what I call box woods. Small parcels of woods that are coon and squirrel producing factories. Life is good here for a dog man...

i CANT FIND A PLACE HARDLY TO COON HUNT ANY MORE BUT IT SURE IS FUN

That is impressive and indicative of a strong coon population and a darn good hound as well. I cut my teeth coon hunting back in the early 90s and my best dog averaged 2-3/night hunting from dark until 10 or so, but we had to be in coons to make our average. Congrats on a great night in the coon woods and thanks for sharing.
