Home for the weekend, put out a few traps around the place. Used NC beaver as bait and it didn't get much attention.
Here's a beaver carcass cubby set on a pond dam just above the spillway. Skunk/castor call lure. A flat set on the backside with bobcat urine. The trap pan on the front side is under the dirt. Neither set was worked. Open to suggestions if anybody has any.
These are two good sized boar coon altlhough they look small in the pic. The one on the right unfortunately all the fur was rubbed off the lower back and flanks. I'm not sure if it was mange or what...can coon even get mange? Both were caught in lil griz traps that were set up on the bank above the water line.
Grey caught where a tractor path comes into a field baited with beaver and turkey gravy
Also got a very large possum but no pic him. Wanted a bobcat or coyote off the farm but no luck with that.
