Got on some woodies this morning before the snow and ice! Also got to help take down a nice mallard drake with the youngest a couple days ago!

Congrats BW Buck. Great memories with your sidekick. With that green head in his hand he doesn't look cold a bit. He probably forgot how cold it was.

We hunted yesterday as well in the snow. I was certainly surprised at how many wood ducks were still around.

My son hunted our place late yesterday in the snow. Ran out 50-60 geese and a dozen ducks, set up on the north bank and very late, a half dozen gaddies rolled in. He got a scotch double 1st shot and then pealed out two singles. The two survivors circled back around and he killed one of those. We're locked up 'til the rains hit on Sunday.
