shot the 338 ten times after work today,,at 925 and 1,100 yards the 300 gr Lapua Scenar bullet at 2,700 fps is a full 2 MOA flatter at both distances at 80* than it was at 40*,

plan to get chronie out and check speeds as I thought H1000 was supposed to be more stable than that,,I hope it is only the thinner warmer air and it is not changing 75 fps for a 40* temperature change,,

I wouldn't think it is the H-1000. Temps affect just about everything when it comes to long range shooting.

yes sir I am keeping notes and learning as I go,,I am getting better at first shot hits on 1.5 MOA targets at 900-1200 yrds,,lookin at a new scope to help me on quicker adjustments and 50% stronger glass.
