I'm thinking about trying out some Barnes 120g ttsx at around 3600fps for deer anyone have any experience with this setup

I would imagine you would get rapid expansion but, still get penetration. Should release energy quick.

I've not used that combo but from my experience with light and fast Barnes it should be fantastic.

Yea that's kinda the way I was figuring it as well just was hoping I could find someone who has tried it

I've used speer 130gr hot-cor in the past and its been phenomenal. So, i would think the monolithic would be a great combo as well.
