Any of you guys load 7mm Rem Mag? I am looking for a few different loads to try. I am going to shoot a 154 gr Hornady SST with Fed Match Mag Primers. I have some IMR 4350, 4064 and both IMR and H 4831. My 7mm Mag that I am going to shooting out of is a Ruger MKII.

Thanks in advance.

Mike

IMR 4350 works well for the lighter (140 gr) weight bullets but for heavier (150+) I'd look for some IMR 7828 or H1000.

Since you have a some on hand, I'd see how well it liked the 4350 and 4831s (probably in that order too).

63.0 grns of IMR 7828 with 160 gr. Nosler Accubond is my pet load in my 700 Rem.Will shoot 1/2 MOA

65.5 grns of IMR 4831 with 150 gr. Nosler BT is my next favorite load. Another sub MOA load in the M700

67 grns. of IMR 4831 with 139 gr Honady SST another sub moa load in my 7mag.

These loads shoot well in my Rem 700 but only so-so in my buddies Savage 110,
If your twist is a 1:9 shoot the slower powders like 7828, 4831, RL22, Retumbo, H1000 with 150 gr bullets. BTW reduce these charges by 5% before trying in your rifle.

62 Gr H4831 behind a Sierra 160 gr bullet
Set at max OAL
Winchester or Rem brass
This load is a tack driver in my Savage model 110 7MM Mag.

with the 154 I would start with IMR4831 ,,while I havent tried it I hear some interesting talk about RL17 I might try if IMR4831 didnt do well as RL17 wasnt out yet last time I tested 7Mag loads..
