351 Self-Loader

[348Winchester]

I found an early production deluxe model Winchester 1907 in 351. This rifle completes my set of these early self-loaders. They were offered in 32, 35, 351, and 401 calibers. They were also available in 22 auto and 22 long rifle. These are very rare and always prompt an inquiry when you run across other hunters in the woods!

You sure aren't going to run into may shooters who know about the 351 or 401's! I've never seen one of the rifles in person myself but do have a 401 cartridge in my collection. Congratulations on completing your set of all available chamberings. You do have some interesting rifles!

Thanks! I fired it Sunday and it shot very well. I have taken deer with my 401SL. I'll try with the 351SL this year.
