Your best bet would be calling a custom barrel manufacturer.
Not too hard to find someone to rebore a 270 or 30/06 and would likely be cheaper

check out bugholes.com or krieger, bartlin or another barrel manufacturer. you looking at about $350 for the barrel, plus cost of paying a gun smith to chamber it, cut and crown it, and then flute it....bc its cool, then have your action blueprinted as well as bolt trued and lapped and fluted...bc its cool. then replace trigger unless its an old model 700 then just have it worked. I have been looking into building a custom or semi-custom rifle for about a year. I just need to keep saving. i have been looking at a defiance custom action http://defiancemachine.com/custom-bolt-actions/ for a while, but i can't come off of $1200!!!! I have two Rem 700 one in 243 and another in 3006 and I have been considering doing a semi custom job on one of them instead. good luck with the barrel hunt. right now most place have a 6 month waiting list on their barrels but sometimes you can find them in stock.
