97.5 grs RL22,,,scooting along at 3720 fps,,that is seated out to touch and will not fit in magazine,,over book max,,DO NOT USE MY LOADS in your rifle

now to see if it will hit where pointed,,should be a banjo string to 600 yards or so

Is all of the powder burned or is a bunch of it blown out of the end of the barrel? That is an unbelieveable amount of powder.

I have no way of knowing that but I would guess it is not,,I would love to see how fast it would be in 30-34 inch bbl

That is what I was wondering... its hard to imagine that much powder being used... Make a man go broke in a hurry like that!

I limit myself to a little over 500 yards,,as thats about as far as I can regularly practice,,at that range the 150-165 gr bullets are flatter and at least as good in the wind,,you have to get out past 700 before the heavy`s are really better and I have not got into that realm as of yet

How bad does the barrel get copper fouled with that much speed?

it took me 2 weeks the way I broke this bbl in and it must have paid off,,I can take a couple patches of Kroil and get the powder fouling out and it is pretty much clean,,it is the slickest bbl and picks up the least amount of copper of any rifle I own,,I guess the bullet aint in there long enough to get any copper on it,,or all that powder melts it,,

mine shoots 3191 fps with 90 gr.rl 22 ,the maunal list it much faster @ about 3450 or so. But is does shoot well out to 425 the longest shot i have here. This round is always over looked by the gun writers.

the most accurate load I have tested from this rifle is the 150 Partition and 96 grs RL 22,,it chronied 3611 for 6 shots with SD of 11 and extreme spreads of 30,,shot many 3 shot groups at 500 yards inside 3 inches,,
