I got this one several years back behind my house while deer hunting. Something you don't see everyday. I figured he got in a trap or something.

I cant understand why people always goes to it was a trap when they see an animal with 3 legs automatically. It was more than likely shot as high on the leg as it is. I hear alot of people around here fussing about predators and when you say you trap their response is always i dont want a bunch of 3 legged animals around.

Dead yotes are the best kind. I have shot at several moving yotes over the years, some never stopped and didn't really look real hard for them. Very possible I missed completely or also possible I hit them.

Whether it was a trap or a shot, doesn't change the fact of how tough yotes are.
