My dad saw this buck 2 weeks ago from the yard. After I killed my big 8 opening week of muzzleloader I decided to go after the buck he told me about. I hunted my butt off for this buck and finally got him today. My dad had seen him 3 other times while I was hunting him. I told him I was fixen to put the gun in his hand since I couldn't see him.
I hunted a hardwoods ridge from daylight until 2:00. Saw several deer but no shooters.

I got down at 2 and moved down the ridge to the end of the point where I can look across the hollow and watch a field on the opposite hillside until dark. Around 4 I spotted him walking around the hill about 320 yards away. The 338 put him down.
