Who many oz.'s per area is supposed to be used.

OK,so ,if something says 1.5 quarts per acre,what does that mean? Does it mean 1.5quarts of roundup that is ready to mix with water or what?

Diamond Hunter, you need to calibrate your sprayer so you know how much you are spraying per acre

I may be the odd man out but ounces of chemical per gallon of water calculation works for me...regardless of acreage covered (as opposed to quarts per acre). It's probably a little light and the burndown might not quite be the nuclear meltdown 3 Mile Island treatment but for broadleaf this time of year...yields a good outcome.

That's why I asked the question,I only use a backpack sprayer,ounces per gallon is kinda what Im used to.

Depending on weed height, we mix 1 to 1-1/2 quarts of 24DB to 10 gallons of water, plus 5 oz. surrfactent to 10 gal water.

I use 3oz/gallon for spot treatment, and no surfactant....as advised by the Keystone folks.
