I have a Remington 700 action that I put a new factory take barrel on. And I was wanting to check the headspace. I found someone here local that had a set. I just didn't want to order a set for about 5 min of use. LOL........Thanks

That's how I ended up with all the ones I have. It wind up about right? I usually measure off the go gauge and add .002" until it won't close. Just so I'll have a reference for future check ups.
I measured the action and barrel dimensions today, everything checked good. I went ahead and pinned the recoil lug to the action. I screwed the barrel on the action and tightened it down. I didn't figure I would get this lucky but factory stamped lettering lined up perfect with the stock. I checked the headspace with the gauges I borrowed. It checked good so I guess, I will take it back apart and media blast barrel and action. And get everything ready to go back together.
