Ethan is kinda coming around and has actualy made a little money this summer,,after blowin his first couple hundred I started holding his checks until he had enough to buy a 10-22 and a 2-7 Weaver rimfire scope,,I went ahead and got the Ruger Standard 22 auto pistol while I was at the store,,I actually got these over the counter for less than I could from gunbroker,,

question is,,do I have to be with him at all times while he is shooting the thing or can he go for a walk on OUR OWN LAND with both Rugers and be within the law,

I know when I was way younger than he is I was carryin stuff way bigger to lots more places,,but I grew up hard and fast..tryin to do him better than I was at this critical age,,when I was 16 I had no boss,10 feet tall and bullet proof,

just tryin to get him trained on how to caryy and use a handgun so he dont get in trouble latter,,

Yes. Someone under 18yrs of age cannot legally be in posession of a handgun w/out immediate adult supervision. They are not allowed to handgun hunt either. Now, that is the letter of the law. What you do on YOUR LAND is your business.
