Well here's my stuff for '09. Didn't really have that great of a year relic wise, but I didn't do much hunting either. By far my best came from my two Virginia trips.
Here's the cases for VA:
And here's most of what I got back home in TN:
That's mostly just cannonball frags and bullets. I think there were 172 shot bullets and 144 dropped ones. That's just what I had here in the buckets...no telling how many I gave away this year to landowners and various other folks.
Any way you look at it...that's a lot of dig holes!
My wife got me the US oval for Christmas. I've been relic hunting all these years and never found one. Maybe 2010 is the year?!
And to start off 2010, I got out some on the 1st and 2nd and dug a little bit. I got into a batch of P-Caps Saturday and just left the area because there were so many. It's hard rooting around the dirt for those lil buggars.
